WCA’s 2nd Annual ‘A Night of Fine Arts’ Lifts Curtain at 7PM, November 4th!

Vocals, Instrumental Pieces, Visual Arts and more will be on display Friday, November 4th as Williamsburg Christian Academy holds its 2nd Annual ‘A Night Of Fine Arts’ event. The inaugural performance was held last year in the Spring, and was intended to be a biennial event in an odd year rotation with the drama production. Demand for a return of the event this year, however, prompted the addition of ‘A Night of Fine Arts’ to the 2016-2017 calendar.

The contrast between the Night of Fine Arts and the school drama production is that more artists are given the opportunity to contribute works and performances on a solo, dual or ensemble basis, as opposed to playing one part in an extensive production, in which not all roles allow the artists to showcase their full range of talents. Last year’s performances were very good to startlingly outstanding, especially in the ranks of some of our younger performers, which bodes extremely well for the future of the WCA arts and drama department for years to come. This year’s lineup offers an extensive slate of performances, and contains an exposition of static visual arts works from our gifted artists in the intermission as well.

We encourage our entire WCA community to come out Friday and support their classmates on what promises to be a very entertaining evening of performances and artistic expositions. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free.
