We Care. We Pursue. We Do.

We Care. We Pursue. We Do.

Williamsburg Christian Academy’s athletic program is designed to reflect the mission of the school, and we are not merely about competitive athletics and winning championships. Our goal is to use athletics to mold Christian character, teach teamwork and sacrifice, and impart valuable life lessons that center on honor, integrity, and a healthy competitive spirit.

Our athletic program is a community committed to developing maturity of mind, body and spirit through the pursuit of excellence and Christ-centered leadership. We have a vision to extend that Christian community through the sports we coach and play. We value student athletes and believe that care, accountability and a sense of belonging are critical for balance and progress.

WCA's Christian coaches not only reinforce the mission and vision of the school, but also become role models and mentors to our student athletes.

Our growing athletic program starts in the lower school, where K-5th graders have the opportunity to participate in the Junior Eagles intramural program, where skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship are the cornerstones.

WCA competes in the Virginia Metropolitan Athletic Conference (VMAC) of private schools throughout Greater Richmond and surrounding communities. On a state level, WCA is a member of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA).

A note from our Athletic Director:

Thank you for your interest in Williamsburg Christian Academy Athletics. Our goal in the Athletics Department is to foster teamwork, fellowship, and sportsmanship in a Christ-centered environment filled with grace and respect for one another. Our ministry is undertaken in many different venues: in the pool, on the field, on the court, or on the course, and we are blessed to be able to share Jesus Christ with all of our athletes in both the highs and lows of a sports season. When our students understand that there are important life lessons whether they win or lose, that is true success!
