We Care. We Pursue. We Do.

We Care. We Pursue. We Do.

Williamsburg Christian Academy’s athletic program is designed to reflect the mission of the school, and we are not merely about competitive athletics and winning championships. Our goal is to use athletics to mold Christian character, teach teamwork and sacrifice, and impart valuable life lessons that center on honor, integrity, and a healthy competitive spirit.

Our athletic program is a community committed to developing maturity of mind, body and spirit through the pursuit of excellence and Christ-centered leadership. We have a vision to extend that Christian community through the sports we coach and play. We value student athletes and believe that care, accountability and a sense of belonging are critical for balance and progress.

WCA's Christian coaches not only reinforce the mission and vision of the school, but also become role models and mentors to our student athletes.

Our growing athletic program starts in the lower school, where K-5th graders have the opportunity to participate in the Junior Eagles intramural program, where skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship are the cornerstones.

WCA competes in the METRO confrence of private schools throughout the Southeast Virginia Peninsula and Southside. On a state level, WCA is a member of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA).

A note from our Athletic Director:

Thank you for visiting the Williamsburg Christian Academy Athletics Webpage. Our goal in the athletics department is to foster teamwork, fellowship, and sportsmanship in our students in a way that glorifies God. For some, this is helping them achieve goals and pursue their God-given talents at the state championship level, and for others, it is simply to permit them to enjoy being part of a team and get some regular exercise. Our ministry is undertaken in many different venues: in the pool, on the field, on the court, or on the course, and we are blessed to be able to share Christ with all our athletes in both their successes and their failures.
