Middle School Curriculum
The middle school division consists of grades 6-8. The middle school curriculum is exciting and dynamic, designed specifically for children in grades 6-8 and taught by faculty that understand and appreciate the development of middle school students. Classes move from the concrete to the abstract, and discussion based experiences in classrooms are the norm. The goal of the middle school curriculum is skill and concept mastery where depth of academic material is stressed. Students are taught
organization skills, study skills, and are versed in time management through age appropriate experiences. Core classes include language arts, math, science, history, Bible, and physical education.
Course offerings for each grade are listed below. When more than one course is listed, students will be placed based on
testing, teacher recommendation, parent input and prior performance. In the case of electives, students have the option of picking one from the listed choices.
