This coming summer, our fantastic College Admissions and Career Consultant Pam Rambo will be holding a Seminar series for parents and students to help get every high school year group on the proper course for the college admissions process. WCA SUMMER 2020 COMPREHENSIVE COLLEGE PLANNING AND APPLICATION SEMINARS

College Process Roadmap, June 8 and July 6, 2020, 12-1pm

Ever wonder what the college process looks and feels like? This seminar, for parents and the high school-age students in the family, provides a roadmap with a timeline for families of students to follow that will minimize stress and maximize results. Learn what to expect and how to prepare.

College Finance 101, June 15 and July 13, 2020, 12-1pm

Colleges come in a variety of price ranges like every other purchase. In this seminar for high school families, learn how to keep college costs low, understand related financial processes, strategies to help lower college costs and how to minimize debt.

Choosing a College Major, June 22-23, and July 20-21, 2020, 9-11am

Ever wonder what major to choose? Participation in this workshop will help students gather the information needed to make a very important education and career decision.

June 29 and July 27, 2020, 12-1pm

Wondering what college is best? Attend this seminar for families of high school students to learn how to choose a college with suggestions for great target colleges to meet the goals and needs of the student as well as the family budget.

College Application Workshop,

Session 1:  June 15-16 & 19th, 2020, 9-11am 

Session 2:  August 10-11, & 13th 2020, 9-11am 

College applications are a challenge that causes many students to procrastinate. The problem with inaction is that it will increase college costs. This workshop helps rising 11th and 12th-grade students understand and begin their common application and coalition application and helps 12th-grade students complete their individual college supplements.
