Our History

From the school's humble beginnings in the founder's dining room, Williamsburg Christian Academy has grown into a well-established Christian school serving the Historic Triangle and surrounding communities. The initial vision of a community-provided Christ-centered education has developed into an independent, accredited institution. Throughout the years, the building has moved and grown, students have passed through our doors, graduates have moved on, but through it all, the spirit of the Lord has clearly been present.

The current state of the art 65,000 square foot building sits on 43 acres in upper James City County and is surrounded by numerous sports fields including soccer, baseball, and field hockey. The building is located in a prime residential area which is easily accessible by neighboring communities.

WCA serves families K4 – twelfth grade. We are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) as well as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)/AdvancEd. From its first graduating class in 1987 to the thousands of students we have impacted over the years, the core remains that same: God is our dwelling place and has been for generations.
